Frame Repair in Export, PA

We run a Car-O-Liner bench rack with the Vision electronic measuring system. That is a specific piece of equipment, named on purpose, because structural work without measurement is a guess dressed up as a repair.

What the system does

Vision compares your vehicle against Car-O-Liner's dimensional database for that exact year, make, and model, tracking dozens of control points live while the vehicle is on the bench. As a pull happens, the numbers move on screen. The technician is not judging by eye when the rail has come far enough; the system says so, in millimeters.

We record a baseline before anything moves and print a final report at the end. That report goes in your file. If a buyer, a dealer, or another auto body shop questions the repair years from now, the evidence exists.

Why millimeters decide the outcome

A unibody vehicle is a single engineered structure. Suspension pickup points hang off it, which is why a rail out of specification produces a pull and eats a tire. Airbag sensors and driver assist radar reference off it, which is why "close enough" means the safety systems are aiming somewhere other than where the engineer put them. And the crumple zones are designed to collapse in sequence, which only happens if the geometry is right going into the next impact.

When the answer is no

Occasionally the measurements show a structure that cannot be brought back within tolerance safely. We say so and recommend the vehicle be totaled. Taking that job would be easy money and we do not want it. Do it right or don't do it at all.

Bring it to 2823 RT 66 in Export, or call (724) 468-6729 and we will get it on the bench.
